What PC do you need for WoW Forever?
These are the requirements Blizzard lists on the WoW Forever product page in the Battle.net Shop, checked on September 29, 2026.

What Mac do you need?

Is my graphics card too old?
Forever’s new lighting and water use a GPU feature from around 2012, so Blizzard dropped support for older architectures entirely. Your card must be at least:
- AMD Graphics Core Next 1 (2012), for example a Radeon HD 7850
- NVIDIA Maxwell (2014), for example a GeForce GTX 750 Ti or any GTX 9xx
- Intel Skylake (2015), for example Intel HD Graphics 530
Blizzard names these as too old: Radeon HD 6950, GeForce GTX 760/770/780 and GTX 8xxM laptop chips, and Intel HD Graphics 6000. Even the cards that pass this check are well below the minimum spec above, so expect low settings.
To see your GPU on Windows, open Settings › System › Display › Advanced display, or Device Manager › Display adapters.
Will it run on a laptop or a Steam Deck?
A laptop that meets the table above will run it; watch the SSD space and the GPU generation. Blizzard does not list the Steam Deck or Linux as supported platforms, so treat any handheld or Linux setup as unsupported even if players report it working.
